Fantastic location, excellent lodge, wonderful staff. Beavers, dal sheep, moose, swans, ald eagles and lots of smaller birds. Enjoyed biking, hiking and kayaking. Naturalists excellent, cooks superb and other staff interesting and friendly.

Where is Kantishna Wilderness Lodge, and how do I get there?
Kantishna Wilderness Lodge is located deep inside Denali National Park in the historic Kantishna district. For the 2026 season, guests travel between Denali Air and the lodge by small aircraft, with round-trip flights included in their stay.
What is included in my stay?
Packages include round-trip air transportation from Denali Air, park entrance fees, private cabin accommodations, meals, select Alaskan beer and wine, and a variety of guided and independent activities.
Are activities guided or self-guided?
Both options are available. Join an experienced naturalist for a guided adventure or explore independently with the equipment and information you need. Advance activity reservations are not required.
Is there a minimum stay?
Yes. A two-night minimum is required because arrivals and departures follow a fixed flight schedule. Two-, three-, and four-night packages are available during the 2026 season.
Is there cell service or Wi-Fi?
No guest cell service or internet access is available at the lodge. Kantishna offers a rare opportunity to disconnect from everyday distractions and immerse yourself in Denali’s wilderness.
How much luggage can I bring?
Each guest may bring one soft-sided duffel weighing up to 25 pounds. Storage is available for larger luggage near the departure airstrip, and complimentary laundry service is provided during your stay.
